3 Ways to Vote in Greenwich in 2026

You have more than one way to vote this year, so let’s break down your options.
For the November 3, 2026 General Election, Greenwich voters can:
● Vote early
● Vote by absentee ballot
● Vote in person on Election Day
Here’s what to know about each one.
Early Voting
Want to vote in person before Election Day?
Early Voting gives you the option to cast your ballot ahead of November 3.
For the 2026 General Election, Early Voting runs from October 19 through November 1 at
Greenwich Town Hall.
Most days, Early Voting is available from 10 AM to 6 PM, with extended hours of 8 AM to 8
PM on October 27 and October 29.
Absentee Voting
Absentee voting is another option for casting your ballot without voting in person.
For the 2026 General Election, Connecticut allows registered voters to request an absentee ballot without providing a specific reason.
The basic process is:
Request your ballot → Complete your ballot → Return your ballot
For the November 3 election, absentee ballot requests must be received by November 2.
Election Day Voting
Prefer to vote in person on Election Day?
You can vote at your assigned polling place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Polls are open from 6 AM to 8 PM. If you’re in line at 8 PM, you can still cast your ballot.
Before Election Day, check your registration and make sure you know where your assigned
polling place is.
