2022 MVP Voter Toolkit: Who's On The Ballot?

With election season approaching, it’s important to gather all the facts before you get to the polls. The first step is to understand who the candidates are, what they stand for, and who will make the right kind of change in our community. MVP will be reviving our Election Fact Sheet series to arm you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.


Who Is On The Ballot?


House District 149, State Representative:


Kimberly Fiorello | Republican

Kimberly Fiorello earned a degree in economics from Harvard College and regularly volunteers in the community on the Collections Committee of the Greenwich Historical Society. She lives in Greenwich with her four children. Fiorello is the current incumbent.




Rachel Khanna | Democrat

Rachel Khanna is a mother of four and has a Master’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University. She has served on the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting (RTM) for 4 years. Khanna has been a resident of the 149th district for over 20 years.




House District 150, State Representative:


Ed Lopez | Republican

Before completing his studies at the University of Rhode Island, Ed Lopez served as a Mormon missionary in the Dominican Republic for two years. Now living in Greenwich, he and his wife are active in political and non-profit efforts.




Stephen Meskers | Democrat

Steve Meskers has a BA in Economics and Spanish and an MBA. He has served 18 years on Greenwich’s Representative Town Meeting. Being a Greenwich resident for 25 years, he has seen his three children graduate through the local public school system. Meskers is the current incumbent.




House District 151, State Representative:


Hector Arzeno | Democrat

Hector Arzeno earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Catholic University of Argentina and an advanced management degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. He has lived in Greenwich since 1986 and raised his four children here.



Peter Sherr | Republican

Peter Sherr received his BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut and his Masters in Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business. He has lived in Greenwich for 30 years with his family.




District 36 State Senator:


Ryan Fazio | Republican

Being raised in Greenwich, Ryan is a graduate of the Greenwich public schools. He studied economics at Northwestern University and is an active volunteer in the Greenwich community. Fazio is the current incumbent.





Trevor Crow | Democrat

Trevor graduated from Harvard with an MBA and is currently a practicing therapist from Greenwich. Crow lives in Greenwich with her family and is on the Board of Directors for the Center for Family Justice.
