Your Election Day Guide: What Greenwich Voters Need to Know
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
If you’re voting in person, now is the time to double-check your polling place, take one last look at your ballot, and make sure you know what to expect.
Here are the essentials for Greenwich voters.

1. Know When to Vote
Polls are open tomorrow from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
If you are in line by 8:00 p.m., you are still permitted to vote.
2. Confirm Your Polling Place
Greenwich has multiple Election Day polling locations, and your assigned location depends on your address.
Before you go, use the Town of Greenwich’s official voting information to confirm exactly where you vote.
3. Take One Last Look at Your Ballot
Knowing what you’ll see before you arrive can make the process feel much simpler.
Greenwich voters will see races including:
Governor + Lieutenant Governor
U.S. House of Representatives - District 4
State Senate - District 36
State House - District 149, 150, or 151, depending on your address
Other statewide and local offices
Your address determines which State House race appears on your ballot, so check your official sample ballot to see exactly what applies to you.
4. Not Registered Yet?
If you missed the advance voter registration deadline, Same Day Registration may still be available if you meet Connecticut’s eligibility requirements.
On Election Day in Greenwich, Same Day Registration takes place at Greenwich Town Hall on the lower level, not at your neighborhood polling place.
Same Day Registration is available from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and you’ll need to provide the required proof of identity and Greenwich residency.
Review the Town of Greenwich’s official Same Day Registration information before you go.
5. Your Final Election Day Checklist
Before tomorrow, take a minute to make sure you’re ready:
Confirm your polling place.
Review your sample ballot.
Check voting hours.
Know which State House district is yours.
Review the candidates on your ballot.
Check official election information if you have any questions.
That’s it.
